The Domain Name is the name you choose for your website. These have the same generic look:
The area open for choice is that of the Name you choose and the ending you select (top level and second level domain) such as .co.uk, etc.
All names are unique and before a name is chosen Akroweb will run a check to see if that Domain Name and chosen ending are available and at what cost. Domain names are not purchased but are in fact rented with the option of re-renting being offered to you first. Costs vary and they are connected to where the site is hosted.

The costs of this vary tremendously and there are good, and poor providers.
The Hosting Plan you need depends on the sort of site you have, how big, how complex, are there databases, how much interaction with there be with customers etc. Akroweb will organise this for you, when the website design is discussed
